Today, KBS™ is pleased to announce Nike Golf’s adoption of the brand-new KBS C-Taper shaft for custom orders available immediately through Nike dealers nationwide. Today’s announcement highlights growing demand for the KBS C-Taper shaft which was introduced by KBS only a few weeks ago (May 9th, 2011) among their premiere network of fitters worldwide. Following Nike Golf’s adoption of the C-Taper shaft, expect to see the KBS C-Taper shaft in Nike Golf custom fitting carts later this year.
Technology behind the KBS C-Taper is based on optimal shaft geometry, similar to the KBS Tour design, for improving club performance per the target player. Incorporating a unique calculation of taper rate and section balance, the KBS C-Taper promotes a lower trajectory and reduced spin without sacrificing the signature feel of KBS designs. Designed in conjunction with the KBS Tour series, the C-Taper fills a performance gap within the KBS product line targeting players with a quick swing tempo or needing a lower shot trajectory.
